I suddenly remembered that I have this.
So, I started up the second book last year in the fall. For reasons I don't understand, I just can't write at home. I have to be away; away from fast internet, away from games, even away from other people at times. In the absence of other activities, I find I can write an entire chapter a day. So here I am, 80% of the way through finishing the second book.
At my wife's suggestion, the first book is on its way to a publisher now. We'll see...
Wishful Thinking
I wrote a novel and plan to write even more. I enjoy the experience of putting together a plot, setting, and characters, but find the effort isn't quite as rewarding if no one ever gets around to actually reading the books.

Almost as bad as losing house keys
Of all the keys to get a crumb stuck under, why did it have to be the 'E' key?
Why not the function key?

A home for writing
After having so little in the way of feedback for Founder's, I've finally stumbled on a writing resource that can help me out with Smallest Voices. It's only been a week, but I already know more about what I need to change than what I've learned about Founder's since its publishing.
Here's wishing for the best.

Conflicted about Conflict
Sooo, I've come to the conclusion that there isn't enough happening in the first third of the book. The info found inside is still important to the overall understanding of the work that the main characters do for the rest of their associated stories. I think the educational style format might be too boring for the average reader, though. I need to come up with something else.

New Computer
I have a new laptop. With it, I have developed a renewed sense of purpose when it comes to finishing the next book. After a few basic suggestions from a couple of more journalistic sources, I find I still have a long way to go.

Continuing On
After reading the first draft out loud to my wife, I've managed to pinpoint many of the mistakes I've made while writing this past spring. This summer shall be a summer of editing and refining.
